CAR PRODUCTION has made a steady start in 2014, according to the latest figures. A total of 128,620 cars were produced in the UK last month - just 0.3% down on the January 2013 figure, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. MINI Cooper S investigation in US over Fires

Lotus has announced a new roadgoing Elise S Cup – one of the hardest, purest Elise models yet. There is a snag in taking the Lotus Elise S Cup R from race track to road, however: the price. The S Cup road version will cost around £43,500, making it one of the most expensive Elises to date.
